Dog reflexology and acupressure: musculoskeletal problems – online course

This course is targetted on those who already work with the dog´s musculoskeletal system; masseurs and physiotherapists. You will learn reflexes and acupressure points that you can use, if you are treating a dog with e.g. arthritis, stiff muscles, hip dysplasia etc.
In Traditional Chinese Medicine, on which both reflexology and acupressure are based, bones and muscles is one of the aspects of the 5 elements. For example, the organ kidney: if it is in an energetic imbalance, it could give a dog arthritis with associated pain. By working on reflexes and acupressure points on the kidneys, the pain can be reduced.

Another example is the liver, which can cause muscle stiffness and problems with the tendons. These problems can often be remedied by working on the liver in the same way as before with the kidney. It will be obvious to use this knowledge in your work with massage, as the 2 forms of therapy will complement each other in the most beautiful way and you will be able to work 100% optimally with the dog´s musculoskeletal system.

You also learn reflexes that directly reflect bones and muscles, e.g. neck, back, hip, shoulder, legs, etc.
